What is Mercy?
Mercy is a beautiful thing.
It is an eternal characteristic of the One who loves humanity
so much.
A wonderful definition of Mercy from the original Greek word
[eleos] in scripture is, “simple kindness or good character
towards the miserable and afflicted, joined with a desire to help
them.” [Romans 9:23]

In Daniel 9:18, we see Mercy [from the Hebrew word racham]
portrayed as the way that a pregnant woman cares for and
cherishes her baby inside her womb.
God has shown us so much mercy; and that is why, at MMI, we
want to live our lives this way.

We desire the mercy of our God to touch everyone around us; no matter what their circumstances. We want this “compassion in action” to affect, infect and change lives all over the world.

“But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy.” - Ephesians 2:4 (TPT)

“Mercy kisses all his godly lovers, from one generation to the next.” - Luke 1:50 (TPT)

“Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life- we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”- 1 Peter 1:3 (TPT)
